Lana Del Rey bores me. But she doesn’t seem to bore a lot of people. And the people who initially launched her in front of all those people that like her have long since turned on her. And now that those people are reviewing her (sophomore) album they are gleefully dismissing her. And, predictably, these are all pieces to to me are even more boring than Del Rey’s music.
So what would interest me is if someone could write a piece explaining why it is all those other people actually like Del Rey. I honestly don’t get it but she seems to have a wide ranging allure and I would love a piece that delved more deeply into that. RIght?
